The pattern work for this scarf is Inspired by the strap hinges and door handles at Etheldreda’s Church.
It has a panel at the bottom where the shades ombré, blending from one tone to another. The main part of the scarf is the same pattern but in two tones, making it very grounding. It illustrates very well the meaning of the name Etheldreda ‘Noble Power’.
Designed in the Welsh Borders, and carefully knitted by ‘Jules’ on a re-conditioned domestic knitting machine. The fabric is gently washed to slightly felt, pressed and finished by hand.
Style: Noble Power Scarf
Colours include- graphite, light grey, indigo, smoke and powder green
Material: Lambswool sourced from Yorkshire and Scottish mills.
Size: W28cm x L224cm
Care: Hand wash cool. Dry flat. Medium Iron. Do not tumble dry.
