Midsummer Makers Fair

Waterloo Gallery, Clun

For me, Midsummer is a time of appreciating the sun and celebrating the richness of June.

I was honoured to take part in a makers fair at the Waterloo Gallery in Clun. Penny and Jonathan have restored a georgian farmhouse and barn offering artistic events. The space is light, airy and welcoming, you can feel the love, care and attention they've put into this space. It was an opportunity for me to share a preview of my 'Peace' Collection for the first time.

light airy room with a window at the back, a vase of dried flowers rests on the window sill. By the wall there is a rail of knitwear with soft neutral colour and blue/greys.

The ‘Peace’ Collection

It was a little while since I had taken part in a real life event and even after all these years its always surprising how long it takes to prepare everything and also getting myself looking presentable. No one sees me during my on-line events ;)

As an artist herself, Penny has a great eye and skill at gathering people together for expertly curated events. Below I’ve shared some of the other makers work, ceramics, wood turning, glass and jewellery.
